  • CCDSoft, CCDStack, PixInsight & Photoshop CS6.

  • eXcalibrator v6.2 for (g:r)(b:r) color balancing with 1,165 stars from the Pan-STARRS database.

  • PixInsight processing includes calibration, CosmeticCorrection,  registration, mean combining,  gradient repair and non-linear stretching with HistogramTransformation.

  • Noiseware 5, a PhotoShop plug-in.

  • PhotoShop for additional background neutralization and noise reduction.

North is to the top.
LBN 1122 is in the constellation Libra. Within LBN 1122 Lynds also identified to dark nebulae cataloged as LDN 1778 & 1780.

In the 1960s, Beverly Lynds cataloged over a thousand bright nebulae. In addition to their locations, she noted the size, color and brightness.
